AAABA has the extraordinary opportunity to hear from the Maricopa County Superior Court civil bench on a variety of relevant topics. Judicial speakers and topics will include:

Hon. Robert Oberbillig - Civil Department Overview
Hon. J. Richard Gama - Complex Civil Cases
Hon. Sam Meyers - Arbitrations

AAABA Goes to Washington

 AAABA is honored to have been invited to participate in a reception at the White House on May 24, 2010 in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. AAABA president, Bryce Suzuki, attended the event. President Obama delivered remarks in the East Room of the White House regarding the "generations of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders [who] helped to build this country, defend this country, and make America what it is today." Summer Law Camp, June 25-26, 2010

The State Bar is seeking 8th-10th graders for a summer law camp presented by Phoenix School of Law and the State Bar. Last year there were, unfortunately, no Asian-Pacific-American student participants. Information and application are attached. Help spread the word! Special Olympics Volunteer Opportunity

 The Special Olympics Advocacy Resource ("SOAR") program is a pilot program of focused on facilitating athlete access to (i) legal services, (ii) government benefits and entitlements, and (iii) financial life skills. The SOAR Program seeks to partner with law, accounting, and financial planning firms, as well as state agencies and corporate sponsors. Details attached.
