Thank you from AAABA President, May Lu, regarding the 23rd Annual AAABA Banquet
It was an impressive turnout for our sold out 23rd Annual AAABA Banquet!  On behalf of AAABA, I want to first thank our members.  AAABA’s greatest strength is the individual members that have worked so hard to make this organization what it is today.  We appreciate your attendance at the Banquet and our events throughout the year.  Second, I want to thank all of our sponsors—both new and long-time sponsors—for their generous support of AAABA!  Third, a special thanks goes to our sister minor bar organization.  #DiversityUnites
What an inspiring and informational keynote by Cecillia Wang, a deputy legal director of ACLU, regarding her background and the current state of immigration law!  Thanks Cecillia!
Congratulations to Dr. Pearl Tang for her special commendation by the Governor Doug Ducey for her contributions to the community!
Thank you to Laetitia Hua, Miss Maricopa County 2019, for doing a wonderful job as our Emcee!
Many thanks to Great Wall for the delicious food and donation of gift certificates, to Fox Restaurants for their donation of gift certificates, and to all our in-kind sponsors for their generous contributions.
A special recognition and thanks to our law student volunteers who arrived early to help out and continued throughout the evening selling raffle tickets!
I am grateful to our Scholarship Committee for the members’ diligent efforts and work in selecting our quality candidates for the Thomas Tang Scholarship.  I am extremely lucky to have an outstanding Banquet Committee to help me plan and organize this Banquet—thank you to each and every member of the Banquet Committee for their contributions to make the Banquet a success!
